What Eid Means to Me
Nothing.. another makan-makan (food binge) day and a day for people who celebrate it to show off their new furniture, curtains and jewellery (fake and genuine included), compare which household serves the best food, cookies, etc.
Every year it's the same morbid story of highway accidents, countless cases of firecracker accidents, robberies, burglaries and ah longs (money lenders) bashing people to death for failure to pay their debts.
So what is Hari Raya?

Not forgetting boring tv shows. Lucky they don't show circus on tv (it was regular fixture on tv during public holidays/festivities)
And almost all houses I went served Nasi Briyani (mine included). Kinda bit boring. Was hoping someone would serve Laksa, Mee Rebus etc. Call me (dengan muka tak malu) if you're serving either one for open house.
