The Red Kebaya.. a must-watch!!

People!!! PLEASE PLEASE go watch this movie!! I watched it twice and cried twice! OK OK!! I'm a sentimental slob but really, it takes a LOT to make me tear..
As a Penangnite, I'm proud that this movie was shot in Penang and at all the beautiful, beautiful places at that!
Not only that, this movie was so full of everything ranging from beautiful costumes, location, cinematography and most important of all, BRILLIANT acting and script! Even the poster's cool.. **Mental note to self: flirt with the cinema guys and get the movie poster!
Maybe I'm a sucker for period movies but this one is phenomenal!
It kind of rang a bell or two up in my head as it reminded me of my beloved late grandma and her glorious days back in the British era in Malaya.. I've NEVER in my life gone to watch a movie (especially a Malay one at that) twice! Might watch it again with another beau ;) hahaha.. I think I'm going to take up acting at The Actor's Studio, Green Hall, Penang.. It's a better way to treat my thyroid problem than all the medications in the world, I think..

*there's more to rave about this movie which I will do later as I have too much on my plate of late... ack.. That's yours truly down there singing "I'm Bloody Beautiful" by James Blunt. LOL
