What Eid Means to Me

Nothing.. another makan-makan (food binge) day and a day for people who celebrate it to show off their new furniture, curtains and jewellery (fake and genuine included), compare which household serves the best food, cookies, etc.
Every year it's the same morbid story of highway accidents, countless cases of firecracker accidents, robberies, burglaries and ah longs (money lenders) bashing people to death for failure to pay their debts.

So what is Hari Raya?
