dinner @ Telok Tempoyak
It was one of those days again when we just simply couldn't decide on what to have for dinner after work. Azizul and I went to fetch Mom from home and off we went to Tasha Dal at Bayan Lepas as Mom said she wanted to have Nasi Dalcha first thing when she got into the car. Finally! Someone with an idea! LOL
Again, as luck would have it, the place was closed! Geez, am I jinxed or what? Sigh. Since we were already in that area, the nearest edible option would have to be Telok Tempoyak and since Mom fancies seafood, it was just as well. :)

cute, eh? If you are bored of having dinner at the table, then you can always opt to cram into these cute li'l huts They are kind of romantic, too.. hehehe
lovely appetizing scenery before dinner... This boat was practically next to where I was seated! LOL.. This restaurant is actually like a marina.. It IS a Marina!

udang masak pedas Thai.. the gravy is yum yum but I hate prawns!!!
sotong goreng tepung... my firm favourite it's really crunchy on the outside and chemy on the outside.. plus, the chilli sauce is yummy!!!
kepah masak black pepper and lemon.. this is a new twist to the normal way of cooking kepah.
ikan tiga rasa (3 flavoured fish) this has got a sourish, spicy and sweet taste to it. excellent combination!
ikan bakar air asam. This is mom's favourite as the 'air asam' or tamarind (tangerine?) sauce really compliments the baked fish and the banana leaf brings out the flavour of the fish..
balitong.. dunno what this is called in English but 'sucky sucky' sounds cute.. LOL
We paid like RM90 (plus 2 big pitchers of watermelon juice and 2 vegetable dish) for everything.. if that isn't cheap, I don't know what it.. hehehe..

I balik msia, u gotta belanja me makan kat situ ok? No tia, satgi dia makan lebih dari mommy... muahahaha... eh serious... kat mana ni eh?
Me and the husband dulu, balik msia in 2004, suka makan at mee udang titi timbul in seberang perai kan, but we always asked for nasi goreng udang, instead. And the tab always come to 50 bucks a pop. Tu makan dua org, just nasi goreng udang jek tu.. alamakk teliur laaa.. nak laaa naaaaakk...
Kak Mar: ahahaha!! sure! jom! nak gi skarang pon boleh :P LOL Tapi sure thing la, you come back here, we go la! hehehe.. memang syiok!!OOo, tempat dia tersorok sket but dekat2 nak pi Batu maung @ Airport..
Mee udang yang plaik best plak ader kat Teluk Kumbar.. Salwa Mee Udang.. hehe.. mmg terangkat lah! mai la balik sini... hehehe
Eh sol, I remember penah pi area belakang2 tu for makan2 seafood once. Then bila I balik, penah try pegi, but they were close. I tak ingat namanya... tapi nak pegi ke area makan2 tu kena masuk kat meredah jln pusing2 kat bukit...
a'ah.. betul dah tu, Kak Mar.. that's the place la.. jalan pusing2 kat bukit.. hehehe
wooo... kalau mcm tu, dulu i pi tu, in 1996 tee hee... 10 yrs ago. Best wooo dok tepi pantai sepoi2 jek angin...
And then in 2004, me and the husband saja2 lah pi tengok, tapi hari yg kitaorang pegi tu it was closed...
Tapi really cheap lah... hish... lapo pulak
hehehe... dia depends on market price ikan gak.. tapi compared to ther places tempat ni mmg murah aa..
