sigh... it's another dull Saturday night in Penang. Went to Sri Ananda Bhawan with Azizul and my Mongolian students for dinner. They seem to like the ghee thosai there.. actually, so do i ;)... hehehe.. After sending them home, Azizul and I headed for Gurney and played a few rounds of Initial-D as the movie that I wanted to watch, Gubra wasn't showing yet.
Felt like having something sweet to satisfy those itchy buds, so we went downstairs to Gurney Walk. Bah. As expected, it was teaming with cigarette-smoking people and loud dudes and dudettes. Without a word, we headed straight to the car and drove off. Zoomed around Esplanade, Beach Street and Church Street a bit and took some nonsense pictures. LOL. We were bored!! But hey, it can be fun to do nonsensical (but legal, of course) things sometimes.
We stopped by my favourite place for 'thorng sui' (chinese soupy dessert) at the Jelutong Market. hmmm... beats designer coffees anytime! hehehe...
