Ossequi Squisiti a Restorante Piccollo Italia ( Delicious Treats at Restorante Little Italy)

Finished work around 5 today and headed straight home as I was exhausted beyond words. A five-hour class every day really works me to the bones! Got home, chatted with Mom a little before catching a few winks. Woke up and was still bleary-eyed when Mom suggested going over to Vialli's for dinner. Of course, when she said Vialli's, she really meant Little Italy. Vialli is the Italian owner/chef of the restorante and a long-time family friend. No prize for guessing what kind of cuisine this place serves but what makes this place remarkable is the rustic italian charm this place boasts of and of course all the gorgeous dishes.
Mom's favourite place to satisfy her italian cravings (LOL) is actually just a few steps away from our place so it's not a wonder if sometimes I could be found there in my jammies! Normally she'll say "WE go downstairs makan at Vialli's lah..." whenever she's having one of her unproductive days in the kitchen. hehe...
Neway, if you crave for authentic italian dishes, then Little Italy is the place to go. What's not to be liked about a place that can satisfy one's every whims and fancy including to cook one's pasta al dente. Well, many eateries and restorantes claim they serve authentic italian dishes but at the mention of the word al dente, they get cold feet! bahhhh.....
My favourite dish at this place has to be the piedino dell'agnello which is actually stewed leg of lamb! mmmhhhhhhh!!! My other all time favourite is the spaghetti/tagliatelle vongole which is pasta with small cockles cooked in white sauce. The pizzas here are waaaaay nicer and healthier than the preservative laden ones we get at fast-food chains. The pizza dough is made daily hence its freshness. As for pizzas, my favourite is Napoli which is pizza topped with anchovies, basil and loads and loads of cheese, olives and tomatoes. When it comes to the all-italian dessert, nothing beats the tiramisu from Little Italy as the sinful yet tempting blend of coffee and mascarpone cheese just melts and lingers in my mouth after every bite.. bliss! But didn't get to enjoy my tiramisu today as it was sold out! See what I said? And oh yeah, the coffee here beats the ones at Coffee Bin and Tar Sucks anytime!
You can't claim to have tasted Italian food here until you go to Little Italy! Well, I haven't had the fortune to step into the land of Roberto (LOL) , but I guess I'll have to settle for the land of Vialli as for now a.k.a Little Italy! Viva La Italia!

Insalata del giardino del formaggio di feta (really yummy salad)

By the way, as a teacher you shd have some sense of integrity and information in your blog shd be truthful, accurate & not fictitious.Firstly, his real name is Abri Ali Abdel Kader & not "VIalli".Secondly,he is not Italian but ALGERIAN & race BERBER. Thirdly,he doesn't OWNED Little Italy it's CO-OWNED with a Bumiputra & his wife.Perhaps you shd stop dissuade people with fictitiuos content & where business is concern get it right for there are laws governing it.

Yaa, Whatever is its name his "spaghetti alle vongole" and his "pizza" are very nice. I also can say he is hard worker and has brought some jobs or business in Malaysia. I've been trying to do some business with him and when I've to withdraw because of personal problem he return me all my investment without a blink of eye. Very reliable person. Nice guy!!!
